Costumes proposal for the Monaco’s Rencontres Philosophiques.

​

It is about designing a costume for seven actors who will embody characters whose words have been traditionnaly refused by philosophy. They will discuss with philosophers on the reasons of this refusal on june the 16th of 2016.

​

In the style of Luidgi Pirandello’s play Six personnages en quête d’auteur (Six characters seaking for an author), this procession would attempt to assert their words, dressed in costumes which emphasize the way philosophy sees them.

From left to right : the woman, the child, the animal, the man of faith, the naive, the madman and the robot.
