Sound and video installation, loop. Dead moths, lights. 2014.
Moths are attracted bye artificial lights because they mistake it for the moonlight, which allow them to find their bearings in the night.
On screen, a mesmeric glimmer, slowly breathing, staring at the dead bugs, liying down on the floor, as if they were burnt by the luminous slab above them.
This installation takes roots in a relfexion around the screen as an apparatus, as a facade that gather and trap the glances. A visual area which offer nothing else than its own size, in spite of the promises of its light.
