Costume
Varaform, hydrophobe fabric , wood, material and threads. 2014.
Suit produced during a workshop with Isabelle Lhoas, for the Monte-Carlo Ballets around the myths of Sisyphe and Icare.
It is mainly composed with a large ruff which vainly inflates, like Icare in his will of raising above men.
A set of pullable threads allows the danser to deploy the ruff. It is made in a material that entirely dinsintegrates through any contact with water.
The costume is designed for a main danser who would suffer watter-contact and see his «wings» falling to scraps, only remains a skinny wood skeleton.
